I mowed the yard today for the first time this season. I enjoy mowing the yard. I do. Most of my friends who have yards simply pay someone to come aboard with all their equipment and do it for them. I ENJOY mowing the yard.
I don't play golf, hunt, fish, go mud-bogging, or bowl. Good things that don't interest me, and I've tried them all. I did not enjoy them very much. I enjoy mowing the yard. I can say, "Look, I did that!" and actually see the results of my labors. And few things smell better than newly-mown grass. Except sausage being cooked. Cooking sausage smells better.
