We have a wonderful dog. Lily is a rescue pit-terrier mix who, among other things, lets us know when there's a snake on the property. When she detects one, she barks and boofs until we come see what she's found. As soon as we're on the scene, she loses interest and goes sniffing elsewhere. Then we have to decide how to kill it or, if it's a black snake, allow a reprieve since they eat copperheads. And copperheads are harmful to one's health and life. This is just one benefit of having our fine kill shelter rescue 63-pound lap dog. That is all.
