Recently, in fact, twice recently, we lost our internet for a couple of days each. I was not pleased because I like the internet very much when it comes to cute pictures of animals, updates from friends as far back as the 50's, and videos that will blow my mind (they promise, and then don't). I'm not as enthralled with selfies designed to elicit praise, admiration, or jealousy. Anyway, I found myself writing a little more and reading a lot more. The mother of my good friend Tom once said, "Give John a button and he'll play for hours." I always thought of that as a compliment to my active imagination. Books are good; more books are better.
