We have two gigantic fig trees/bushes on our property, and they produce prodigiously. My long-suffering wife, Lisa, harvests the figs and make great desserts. Also, we eat them right off the branches. The trouble is, if her bare skin brushes the fig leaves, blisters appear on her flesh. I asked her if maybe the same reaction might have happened to Adam and Eve. She said, "That's what you get when you try to hide your sins from God." And she doesn't think she has a sense of humor.
