Being a renowned biblical scholar, I am frequently asked which book of the Bible I like the most. I am quite fond of Job, Hebrews, and Romans, but my fav might surprise you since it's not in most Bibles. I love "Permutations" due to it obscurity and wisdom. And flexibility. These pearls to live by stand out, "Cleanliness is next to godliness," "Never floss with a sojourner for thereby a nation is lost," and "An unruly child is as a chihuahua with flatulence. No fun." There are also dietary guidelines I live by, such as "Butter is better than margarine," "A day without sausage is like a day without sunshine," and "Wine rocks!"
Many readings from Permutations refer to a god and married love. "Love is goofy" is one of my favorites, and also, "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life make a Swedish woman your wife." There are other guidelines to love. "Give me not a woman who makes fun of my favorite team," is important to keep peace and tranquility in any marriage.
As for humankind's relationship with god, Permutations offers this: "When one makes a mistake that comes back on one, stop whining." And, "To say someone is succeeding and living like a rock star is as words of lemon ammonia to the ear, and stupid."
Perhaps Permutations is not in your Bible, its authorship questioned by other biblical scholars, who scratch their heads and ask, "Who dat?" The rumored author of this tome is very likely Plutonionous Hibiscuss, an alcohol devotee and manufacturer of whoopee cushions in 737 B.C. It is likely that Permutations is not in most Bibles because of scholarship. Still, I recommend him.
